Using Arduino to Detect if a Motor is Under Strain
Hi all,
Just wondering if it possible to detect how much strain a motor is under and stop the motor if it is over a certain threshold? (I am using Arduino)
Any help with this problem would be great!
Thanks

Re: Looking at Getting a Soldering Iron Station
......Dad has just bought one of these!

He said I can use it, so I don't think I will buy one of my own quite yet!
How does this one compare with the one you mentioned above?
Thanks very much!

Looking at Getting a Soldering Iron Station
Hi all,
I am looking at getting a Soldering Iron Station.
It needs to have a fairly small tip, have a decent range of temperature control and be good quality because it will be used regularly!
What would your recommended?
Thanks!

Thanks Mr Liam!
Can it give more detailed outputs than 1 for extended and 0 for not extended?
Thanks again!

Re: Linear Actuator
... The diagram of how to wire it up?
3 and 1 are connected and 2 measures the resistance? Is that how it works?
And it also says it is a POSITION CALP so that means it measures how far in or out the metal pole is? (so definitely not a linear actuator!)
Thanks!
