Re: Looking at Getting a Soldering Iron Station

......Dad has just bought one of these!
https://www.jaycar.co.nz/48w-temperatur ... n/p/TS1564

He said I can use it, so I don't think I will buy one of my own quite yet!

How does this one compare with the one you mentioned above?

Thanks very much!

Looking at Getting a Soldering Iron Station

Hi all,

I am looking at getting a Soldering Iron Station.

It needs to have a fairly small tip, have a decent range of temperature control and be good quality because it will be used regularly!

What would your recommended?

Thanks!

Re: Linear Actuator

Thanks Mr Liam!

Can it give more detailed outputs than 1 for extended and 0 for not extended?

Thanks again!

Re: Linear Actuator

... The diagram of how to wire it up?

3 and 1 are connected and 2 measures the resistance? Is that how it works?

And it also says it is a POSITION CALP so that means it measures how far in or out the metal pole is? (so definitely not a linear actuator!)

Thanks!

Re: Section in Code Repeating as if Button is Always Pressed

Hi all,

I have followed the Internal pull-up Resistor section of this tutorial http://www.gammon.com.au/switches

So I used the "INPUT_PULLUP" command and wiring! (So no resistor and no connection to the 5V line).

Thanks for all your help!

Re: Section in Code Repeating as if Button is Always Pressed

Hi again Ben10! I have followed the tutorial you provided and used the code/concept in my program. Unfortunately it still has the same problem! Here is my code: #include <SPI.h> #include <LoRa.h> #include <Wire.h> #include <Adafruit_Sensor.h> #include <Adafruit_ADXL345_U.h> #include <TinyGPS++.h> #i...
