Here at school we decided to build a drone, we got funding from our school council and we are entering the competition for 2019. Does anyone have any suggestions for how we could make parts and any ideas that could be useful? At school we have a 3d printer and a laser cutter (arriving next term). Thanks, Jonty
You could 3D print most of the drones body as 3d printed objects and strong and light weight(I recommend ABS plastic ).For the electronics housing I would suggest a wooden laser cut box because i think it would survive better in a flight failure.Or if your 3d printer can use flexible filament i would highly recommend that for the electronics housing.
