FREE Competition Kick Starter ~ RFID Reader and zillions of Tags :)

Post by ~ Andrew » Fri Jun 01, 2018 4:27 pm

IF you know what RFID is and SERIOUSLY want a Reader and a shovel load of RFID Tags for your Hi Tech Project for FREE then:
1/. SAY what kind of thing you could make with it as a nominal Hi Tech Project
2/. GET your teacher to ask me or bright sparks for verification this is for use in the Competition
3/. DO a little research to explain how it could work or how you might use it
4/. Guess how many tags you will get with it
I will do everything I can to make sure you get it pre connected and PRE TESTED on a board ready to hook into a Pi / Dwino / Axe serial port at 9600 Baud (TTL). However it would pay so understand a little bit about how it works but the picaxe blob of code will be a great start for you :)

Answer to this post to register your interest for starters if you are keen if you want to book one of theses
Three to give away with three shovel loads of tags

1/. Ive had an idea for a while to make a device that measures...
where on the track a train (esplanade scenic railway in Palmerston north to be precise) is and then relays that info to a central computer to then know where the train is and how long till it reaches the station.

2/. Will do.
3/. RFID stands for Radio Frequency IDentification. the tag contains a coil of wire and a microchip. the transceiver sends out radio waves which endue a current in the wire of the tag and powers the chip which sends back a radio signal interpreted by the transceiver.
4/. Number of tags ≥ 1.

>>> Okay
Can you make a post and include a postal address to your school or home with all details, name so the parcel gets there
