Hi everyone,

I am wanting to make something with Picaxe that senses when a laser touches it and lets off a loud beep. But the sensor has to be about the size of a sheet of A4 paper. Do you know where I could get something like that?

Any help would be great!!!

Hi Zeb!

How about a sheet of conductive foam and the capacitive touch function on a picaxe ??

Cheers!

use a solar panel in a white box set behind an opaque screen like a sheet of A4 Paper or plastic photocopy.
Monitor the mV coming from the panel with readadc / readadc10 command.
