Post by DaPorkyPig » Wed Aug 15, 2018 8:59 am

hi all,
i'm trying to set up a arduino micro as a Bluetooth guitar hero controller, i'm hoping to do this with sending keystrokes over bluetooth. is there anyone who can help me with the code for this? i don't really want to do a serial connection then a python script.

thanks, Porky

Hey mate,

That's what we call a Human Interface Device or HID to the computer, it's basically a joystick. I will have a look around but I think you will be requiring a PC side driver - unless this is on playstation or xbox?

What's the ultimate goal here, are you wanting to get a controller that plays the game for you? :D

Two versions of this

Make SURE if you want blue teeth you get the right model
They make very nice build quality
I have a BT mini standard kbd for Pi and it is brilliant... works direct into Pi0w's via BT with NO dongle needed (but supplied) etc
