infrared control of servo

I am working on an infrared transmitter and receiver for the remote control of a standard servo. The transmitter control signal is produced by a typical 555 IC set up and then modulated to 38khz by another 555 Ic. This Ic is left running at a constant 38khz necessary for the receiver IC. and the control signal switches this using a 4066 cmos analog or digital switch rather than enabling and disabling the 38khz 555 ic. This means 38khz signal can be monitored at any time for correctness of frequency. I will provide digram soon Regards Nedpicaxe

Somehow your post of what has turned out as (Infrared control of servo} is somehow one of my earlier posts of mine dated Sun June 10 2018. It might be a system software problem that has caused this. My Password ends in 123 and may have caused some confusion with the controlling computer. I had considerable problems with establishing a working password when the whole system was recently changed. I was eventually given one by the controllers ending in 123 .Hope this can be resolved for you. Regards Nedpicaxe

Is there a fault with the computer that it produces the same password every time?

Hi Ross.
A bit strange but I am not going to worry about it to much. My Email address is ..... I have not got yours. I have learnt a lot during the project. Using 4066 switches and using cmos inverters as amplifiers. Regards Nedpicaxe
