Hi everyone,
I am just wondering if there is a good impact detector that is fairly cheap and works well with Picaxe?
I intend to attach it to an object and detect when the object has had an impact!
Thanks very much, any help would be great!
Is There a Good Impact Sensor that Works Well With Picaxe?

Hi Zeb!
You can try an accelerometer? What G Forces are you expecting it to experience?

Hi Mr Liam,
I am planning to make a unit that attaches to a person and detects when the person has a fall!

Hi Zeb,
Yes so what you can use is called an Inertial Measurement Unit - or IMU. AN MPU6050 could do the trick
